PADI Instructor Specialty

Specialty instructor courses provide teaching tips and hands-on experience that you can implement right away. With 25 standard PADI Specialty Diver courses, and numerous distinctive specialties, you have lots to choose from – so get going.
All PADI Instructors will benefit from taking specialty instructor training courses, especially those who are ready to step up to the Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating, which requires at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications.
You’ll learn new techniques to add to the experience you already have in a specialty area and have fun fine-tuning your skills and teaching methods. Plus, you’ll get great ideas for marketing your specialty diver courses.
Be a certified PADI Divemaster or have an equivalent rating. Be at least 18 years old at the start of training. * Submit medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, attesting to fitness to dive.
Specialty training is usually in combination with our IDCs but we have no problem teach Specialties at any time of the year.
Depends on what specialties you would like to do? For example can be that you would like to become a PADI Dry Suit Instructor you would need to bring your own Drysuit.
What Specialty Instructor candidates must do.
Each Specialty instructor candidate needs to a classroom presentation for each of the specialty they are participating in.
They need to do 1 or 2 dives depending on what specialty they are participating in.
